Locks of Love

So, Seoul and Paris have their very own Locks of Love, but so do we in Singapore!
Clarke Quay Central does have a small corner for couples to lock their locks.
So for those whom have always wanted to lock your very own lock, you may now do so at Clarke Quay Central!

This is the current Locks of Love display.
And the thing is, it is interesting to see the types of locks that couples are willing to go all out to prove their love for each other. Haha

And so, recently, I did a project for Clarke Quay Central for their Locks of Love display.
Work in progress, but we do have tourists taking photos at the display.

Just in case you're wondering where its located, it is just by the entrance of the mall, walking towards the River. Exiting the mall, you would turn right towards the River promenade, and you would be able to see the lighted display.

So, all you have to do is to purchase a lock from the lock machine located just at the entrance of the mall, 4x $1 coins (Old coins). Alternatively, you may wish to purchase the locks from the Customer Service Counter, located just outside Subway. (That is if you have problems with the machine, or you do not have 4 old Singapore coins.)

Slotting the coins in!

Upon purchasing, I wanted to leave our names on the lock, so I decided to ink our name down on the lock! The lock comes in a small capsule ball, with 3 keys and a note of the display.

Time to lock it in!

Depends on you, but we decided to add our polaroid on the lock to commemorate this moment.
(Please ignore the ugly duct tape- we just didn't want the photo to get all eeky and wet)

Me doing the honours of locking the lock on the display!

Voila! Its done!
As simple as that.

Of course, you have to throw the keys into the river! and ya, I suggest letting either one person to throw it in, and not to hold hands to throw it in together. Our key was stuck at the bottom stairs as we didn't throw in sync with each other! hahah! so poor Soon Keong had to risk his life, not falling into the river, and climb down the narrow river stairs to pick up the key. Only successful of throwing the key into the river on the second attempt!

I wish all couples all the best and may your life be filled with Love and joy. <3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY YAP YAP!

Came home from work at Clarke quay central mall yet again before heading out to meet Amanda and her friends at Attica.

Popped by Fenix to find her colleagues before heading back to Attica.

Her being all serious about her champagne.

Of course, how could we miss out a photo with keong keong.
Ended the night with a high, but not DRUNK state. *GREAT*

To my dearest yap yap,

At sentosa!

Not sure what this was but look at my ugly white vest and your super huge bell bottom jeans! And Cherie's high boots!
And here you were pretending to sleep
Forgot about this too. But the guy photo bombing us behind is too hilarious.

Us at the zoo!
Some clubbing night in the toilet.
At some pub at boat quay
At some group shoot with some cars.

Our pair shoot!
At zouk!
Working for you while you interned.
At my place. The good old slacking times, where we used to stay over at each other's houses 3 nights in a row!

Your 23 bday.

This is the us now. 10 years later.
After going through so much together, Watching each other fall and get up again.
May the years pass, strengthening our friendship, creating many more memories to pass on to our little ones in future. <3

A Long Long Night; Literally Long

HELLUVA NIGHT!

Started off with meeting a few of us to sit in the limo before heading to Shanghai Dolly to pick the birthday girls.
Hello~! Trying to get a proper pic here please..

Thats better!

Picked them up and surprised them in the Limo!
We had beer and only beer.
Thing to note, corkage is super expensive in the limo.
I just don't get it! The corkage is $80 per bottle. Nope, you didn't see it wrong. $80.
Its the same price as my champagne!
So we just ordered some beer and drank it in the limo.

The limo was booked from http://www.cosmosine.com
You may wish to check out their website for more information on the pricing.
Thats beer in the glass FYI.hahah

The driver was friendly and they were really nice! They drove randomly around orchard, and we started waving to random people. It was really fun!

We were about to arrive at our secret location, so we definitely needed them to blindfold themselves up!
They were so upset they couldn't take a proper picture of themselves with the limo.

Group A tightening the masks whilst group B hurried up to prepare the room!
A group shot is a must!
Still blindfolded even up till the moment they sat on the chair!
Obviouslyyyy, halloween themed.

We were joking that it looked like some witchcraft session going on.
BTW, those are all shots of different mixtures. Some of which were not as bad as the rest.
And each of them had to down 7 shots in a row. *Oooops*

Thinking long and hard before picking the proper shot glass.
This was a very scary process though.

CHAMPAGNE TIME!!
MY FAVOURITE!

They joked that I looked like the Tiger beer girl for the night.
Perhaps Tiger could have me as their ambassador. hahaha!

And they should.. Because look at our fridge!
Tiger Tiger Tiger Tiger..

Sharlyn came at the later part with a birthday cake for the girls.
Chocolate cake is a must.

Time for a selfie with the survivors of the night. The rest knocked out. haha

GOOD NIGHT WORLD!
