#OOTD and Things I got from Korea Part 1

#OOTDs in Korea

Hardly do I ever do such outfit of the day kind of things but who could resist it when you're in Korea??
I mean, every single corner is a suitable background for taking such photos, and the weather? All the more suitable for such pictures!
So just take every single angle luh! hahahah

Day 1 at the airport

Simple casual and appropriate for airplane wear.
Brought along a down jacket from Uniqlo zipped in a zip lock bag.
(Zip locks are super handy and is an essential for my travelling trips now!)

Day 2 at Dongdaemun

Not sure of the weather and how I could take it, so wrap like ba zhang.
(You get what i mean right, see. even the roadside pavement is also a very nice background. - in my opinion luh. Sorry if you disagree and think this is ugly.) haha

Day 3 at Gyeong Bok Gung - Palace

Yes! SNOW SNOW SNOW!
Anywhere with snow is also a good picture.
dressing a little lighter as I found out that I could take the cold better than I thought. :X

Day 4 at Hongdae university shopping area.

Just as when we entered the local fast food chain for lunch, it started to snow.
Why wait for lunch when you can eat snow!
and so, we headed to take some shots of my (in my opinion again) super dorky, "show my cute socks" outfit. I loved how I wouldn't wear this out in Singapore, and yet, I could pull this off in Korea.

Day 5 at Jisan Ski Resort

Ski Time! Bao like ba zhang again.
Sorry no proper full body shot, was too excited trying on the ski gear and trying to get out of the place. make do with my big fat face, with half gone eyebrow and smudged eyeliner, and a picture of my foot ok.

We were in ski gear clothing most of the time anyway. Yes, we took a good half hour trying to get dressed, exchanging with the counter person and choosing colours of our pants, jackets and masks. Though it was a rented suit, still must look nice for the photos right? Mum and I literally spent half the time getting to the slope before giving up and sitting at the cafe area.

Ps. this photo was taken midway while trying to get to the slope, we were not even halfway near there, and was already tired as hell.

Day 6 at Everland theme park

Even more chio background to take pictures. Oh gosh!
comfy baggy outfit so I could take whatever rides i wanted!
Its the eve of Xmas eve, so must get in the mood and buy an Xmas themed cat ears from the theme park!

Day 7 at Bukchong Hanok Village

Christmas eve calls for Christmas themed coloured outfit.
Though you can't really tell, but I was wearing a red checked shirt under the white sweater.
Red and Green!

That was the end of my 7 days #OOTDs for Korea.
Mostly re-wore my clothing, cause if I were to bring too many, how to buy more clothes...
HAHA

So here are some items I got from Korea, and for the clothing, if I have time, then I will share ok..
(inserts cheeky face)

Disclaimer: im not any famous blogger/ instagrammer or anything, but this IS a blog anyways.
This post is not sponsored, I used my own money to buy everything. (just saying :/ )
OK, maybe some money belongs to my mum.
HAHAHA

----------------
Laneige works great on my face as I have a semi-sensitive skin.
Not sure what went wrong, but my face started to turn sensitive just after half the way along my 24 years of life.
so, when i try a product brand and it does not irritate my skin, I tend to stay with that brand. Have been using the Laneige sleeping mask since I got it for my 22/23 bday from Adrienne. (Yes, thanks adrienne! )
So since SK's sis bought me the night sleeping mask while she was in korea, I thought I didn't need anymore, and so I wanted to try out other products.
(Haven't tried out any of this yet, but would test it out soon)
hopefully it works wonders.

When in Korea, Etude house is a must buy.
Not sure why, but I'm very geared towards lip products versus any other make up product. Always love trying to find nice colours that suit me. The colour of your lipstick would really change up the look of your whole look. (if you get what I mean)

Bought just 1 hair bow for myself (This is just $1!!!)

Some random purchases (Also just $1!!)

And these two pairs of shoes for just $12SGD (inserts smirky face)

Personally for me, I usually go for cheaper items. I do not necessarily buy an expensive shoe. Take for example the pumps, I bought it at 10,000 won ($12sgd). It was purchased at a push cart by the roadside at Myeongdong and all the shoes were thrown into a pile. The sides of the sole were a little stained, but not relatively obvious. For the same shoe at a proper store, it was retailing at 25,000won ($28 -$30sgd). My shoe style would probably change anyways, and the quality is probably similar. So next time, search while shopping! Fashion trends come and go. Unless, you're going for the brand, but to each his own.

Hope this post did not offend anyone. Its just some of my tips I would like to share with you all.
I rarely blog, but was super excited about going to Korea, and just wanted to update anyone who cared for an update from me. (:

Happy New Year and a belated Xmas to all!

Ps. Would like to thank my mum and uncle mike for this trip to Korea. Without the both of you, this trip wouldn't have been half as awesome as it was, and causing me not wanting to come back to Singapore.

If you haven't watched my blog, check it out here and here!

XOXO,

Hong Kong December 2013

Hong Kong Day 1!
Didn't have that many pictures but you an more or less see all of it in the videos below!
We arrived in the late evening and it was dinner / supper time already.
We stayed at a nearby hotel, room was TINY.
Had porridge and you tiao for supper.
SUPER GOOD.

Hong Kong Day 2!
This trip was more of a relaxed trip, to visit family in Hong Kong.
We go to Hong Kong really often for holidays, as aunts and uncle are residing there.
I usually love to go in the winter, to escape the Singapore humidity.
So this round, we brought grams over to see my aunts, and some shopping as well!

Heading out for the morning, taking a stroll to the nearby shopping areas.
Happy granny and fat me.
*My chubby face* oh gosh.

Arrived at a shopping mall where grams was trying on some new shoes.

 Her Happy face!

 Hong Kong Day 3!
Headed over to Shen Zhen for the day. YES!
SHOPPING TIME.
don't shop in Hong Kong, just take an MRT ride and in an hour, you would arrive in Shen Zhen!
Everything is super cheap.

Hong Kong Day 4!
Went on to the peak for a stroll as we had no plans for the day.
As we have travelled often to Hong Kong, there wasn't much that we have not visited.

At the link bridge to the bus station to take a bus ride up the peak.

This was one of the shopping malls where there was a huge Victoria's Secrets store.
Things in the mall are usually expensive, unless you are really out to spend, if not, don't shop at the shopping malls.
Tip: Take an MRT to Shen zhen (China) and it is a shopping Haven for girls there. You would have to change to Ren min bi though. Its after all, passed the border to China (PS. you need to pass through customs)

Had afternoon tea at one of the Cha can tent.
This is my FAVOURITE bun of all times.
SUPER DUPER YUMMS!
It is a toasted bun with butter and condensed milk
And not to miss the egg tarts fresh from the oven!
That marks the end of my trip and I would definitely hope to update more when I travel next time!

xoxo,
